resistance<\/strong>, or <strong>chemical inertia<\/strong> of components, and are often chosen for applications in aggressive environments such as offshore, chemical, or food Work?<\/h2>\n<p>Depending on the material and the desired end characteristics, we choose the right technique:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Galvanic processes<\/strong> (such as hard chrome plating or nickel plating) build up a metal layer through electrolysis.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Chemical processes<\/strong> (such as chemical nickel) work without electricity and ensure an even coating.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Anodization<\/strong> changes the surface of aluminum through electrochemical oxidation.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Rubber coatings<\/strong> are physically applied and profiled if necessary.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Blasting or glass beading<\/strong> is used as a pre-treatment or to increase roughness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These techniques can be performed separately or in combination,
